LOGISTICS INFORMATION

Travel Expenses:
Travel expenses (including air fare and hotel room) will be directly billed for State and Tribal TANF Program and IT Directors, including the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, and the Virgin Islands. Once you register you will be contacted by the conference logistics coordinator and travel agent to arrange your travel and hotel accommodations. If you choose to book air travel on your own you will be reimbursed up to the lowest coach fare available. Since most tickets are non-refundable the costs for changes after the ticket has been issued will be the responsibility of the traveler. Expense reimbursement forms will be provided to attendees to seek reimbursement for ground transportation (to and from the airport in your home state as well as between the airport and hotel in Washington, DC) and per diem for meals.
Air And Rail Travel Reservations:
You may request your airline or train reservations on the conference registration web site and a tentative itinerary will be sent you for review by Marcia Brennan, our travel agent. (Marcia@brennantravel.net)
If you choose to book travel yourself you will be reimbursed for the lowest coach fare available.
Hotel Reservations:
You may request your hotel reservations on the conference registration web site and a reservation will be made for you. Your hotel sleeping room charge will be placed on the conference master bill and the room will be guaranteed for late arrival.
Cancellation Policy:
If you must cancel please notify us as soon as possible and at least 48 hours in advance of your arrival date so that we are not charged for your room. You may cancel by notifying Leslie Fain at leslie@faingroup.com.

Valet Parking:
Overnight: $35 including tax (includes in and out privelages)
Daily: $10 before 10:00 am and $12 after 10:00 am for the day
Metro: The closest Metro stations are Farragut North on the Red Line and McPherson Square on the Blue and Orange Lines. All stations are approximately a ten minute walk to the hotel.
